Chris Young does a budget meeting (ASUO) recap...we are happy with the turnout. Is trying to contact the pres about stipends. Also, we need to switch stipend holders, so that the current holder's income does not effect financial aid.
Jess G. on funding...$1,000 from Dean's Office, EWEB will continue to fund the conference this year, will donate $6,000.
Jesse Jenkins and the ECAFF grant...working on the Leighton pool project, feel that we will get some kind of grant, is shooting for the stars. Needs HOPES publications for Western Regional Sustainability Conference at Chico State.
Jess G....Brook Muller conversation about keeping coords or others affiliated with EDC, finding people at the volunteer meeting that are interested would be good...then we could show them the ropes sooner rather than later.

MINUTES FOR 02-14-06 HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
Jess G. - start with matters concerning HOPES 12:
How can we be a better team?
How can we make HOPES better?
(open up the floor)
BROOKE - We need to do more as a whole group, rather than individualized. When we know what each other is doing, it makes it easier for us to do our jobs better.
JD - Second that. Feels like he is sending out too many emails and no one is replying, so where is the contact if not in meetings or emails?
KAARIN - When sending emails, frame in the title who it applies to. Be concise...this is why you are receiving this email...

EDC Advisory Council Meeting report—
Talked about their purpose: to show their support of us, give us ideas, smooth things out, who to talk to, who not to talk to, help us get things done
How to manage growth? Trust each other, distribute tasks and trust everybody will do the job. Hold mini-meetings, get volunteers involved. Pitch in on others’ projects. Ask for help. Get a volunteer coordinator!
