Also: on March 11 is the 50th anniversary of the drowning of a falls by the Dalles dam. Made a 14min documentary of the drowning of the dam. It's one of the Confluence installation sites. Also fits in with turbulent water project. Hannah: could show documentary during lunch in the Hearth. Env Studies office has a copy of it.

Brook: HOPES in the future is a great idea. Many conferences have business meetings for planning purposes. A cast of characters comes back every year and it would be very interesting to see them all together in a room and hear their interests in the future. Could be called HOPES reunion to attract those characters. Kevin Parker is one, Noel ?. Last year, recruiters were very successful in getting registrations, but then a lot of people didn't come because studios didn't let out. Send an email to Rachel to send out to faculty in AAA to encourage profs to adjust schedules to incorporate HOPES into syllabus, avoid having big projects due Monday following. Also send to aamos@uoregon.edu in Law School who heads up environmental law work.

Pete: Would like to improve continuity in organizational structure of the EDC from year to year. please send us feedback about that. Any other pointers?

Frank: Always helps to write things up for people who come in. Impressed by what you're able to do year after year.

Josh: Send summary along with email to professors. Will post posters in Portland.

John: Website is completely up-to-date; it's the best it's ever been!

Scott: Can post at AIA meeting, 1st Thursday of the month.

Steve: EDC is the most successful student group on campus, maintains institutional memory well already.

Brook: Agree with Steve completely; send an email to our dean monthly for more EDC support. Need GTF support. You're in a design program and then take on a full-time job, for free, that gives the school a lot.

Steve: Don't want to lose the grit you have by being an all-volunteer student conference, without the ease of support (?)

Josh: You have the grit, but now you have national & international attention.

Brook: Funky global.

Steve: Students in other programs can be a real asset to you. Think about how you can reach out beyond AAA.

Frank: contact us anytime!
